Wondering who needs a math tutor?

Listen to the video to get some ideas.  If you aren’t into videos, then skip down to the post.

You may need a Math Tutor, if, your learning style doesn’t match your teacher’s style or you always feel behind, because the class is moving way too fast.

And you want someone to work at Your pace.

You may need a Math Tutor, if, you want to pass the class or, even, to maintain a passing grade or you want to pull up your current grade or you want to ensure an A in the class.

And You want some help.

You may need a Math Tutor, if, you need help learning and understanding the general concepts or  you need help understanding your homework or  you seem to do well on homework and yet not so good on tests or you may have math anxiety.

And you want someone to work patiently with You.

Working with a tutor will help you learn the material which can enable to do better on the tests.

Tools to bring to a tutoring sessions.

Bring plenty of paper, pencils, and an eraser.

Your textbook, workbook, work sheets, class notes, and any other tools you may be using in your math class.

Other tools.

If you are in geometry class, then you may need to bring a protractor, compass, and a straight edge.

If you are graphing equations, then you probably should bring graphing paper and a straight edge.

If you are allowed to use a calculator, then bring it, too.

Most important tool in math.

I think that the most important tool in math is the eraser.
