Students get better grades when they commit to studying regularly. Because math takes time to learn, work on the problems, and for our brains to absorb the material. Weekly sessions help students stay committed. The Monthly and 8-Hour Packages support students as they keep these weekly commitments.

Also, with the Monthly and 8-Hour Packages you pick and reserve your time slots. This will guarantee that you will get those days and times at a lower rate than the singles rate. This will let me know which hours are really booked. This helps make more hours/days available for you to choose from.

A lower rate! By offering these Packages, it gives me the opportunity to offer one of them at a rate that is lower than the previous hourly rate.

All three of these packages gives you the flexibility to choose which works best for you.

Singles: $55 per hour

Monthly: $50 per hour     $100 – $350 (2 to 7 hours) total pre-paid package

8-Hour: $45 per hour      $360 total  pre-paid package

Singles

You want to schedule appointments one-at-a-time.

Works best for:  Students, who are happy with their current grade and basically understand the material.  They just need help here and there or and want help reviewing the material for tests. Also, good for those students/parents who have schedules that continuously change.

 How this Works:  You contact me via website or email to schedule an appointment. There will not be any time-slots held on an on-going basis for this level.

How to make Payment: Cash or check at the beginning of your session. Or you can pre-pay by credit card or PayPal.

Monthly Package

 You get to pick your time slots for 2 or more hours scheduled in one month (e.g., January, February, and etc…). This will guarantee that you will get those days and times at a lower rate than the singles rate.

Works best for:  Students/parents who know their calendar for the up-coming month. Students who want to work together on their Math on a regular basis.

 How this Works:  You contact me via website or email and we’ll find a weekly day/time that works for you.

 How to make Payment: Full payment for the entire Monthly Package may be paid on the day of your first session with either check or cash. Or you have the option to pay with a credit card and/or PayPal at the time you receive the invoice.

8-Hour Package

 You choose 1 hour sessions for 8 consecutive weeks, or you can choose 2 hours per week for 4 consecutive weeks or we could agree to a variation of this. This will guarantee that you get the days/times that you want at a lower rate.

Works best for:  Students/parents who know their calendar ahead of time. This is a great option that helps you save money and your favorite time-slot. Also, this helps students stay current with their Math class.

How this Works:  You contact me via website or email and we’ll find a weekly day/time that works for you.

How to make Payment: Full payment for the entire 8-Hour Package may be paid on the day of your first session with either check or cash.  Or you have the option to pay with a credit card and/or PayPal at the time you receive the invoice.

There will be NO PARTIAL PACKAGE REFUNDS, so only choose the package that you are confident that you will use.

Cancellation Policies

 For Singles

If, you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, the fees generated by the missed appointment still remain due. If, you pre-paid the session, then you will forfeit that session with no rescheduling or refund.

 For those with the Monthly or 8-Hour packages                                                                                     

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled session, the missed session will be deducted from the total sessions of your package.

If, you contact me with more than 24 hours notice, we can reschedule your missed appointment.

All rescheduled sessions will need to take place the same week as your canceled session; it may not be transferred to future weeks. Certain weeks may not have available time-slots for you to reschedule an appointment even with more than 24 hours notice. So, if rescheduling is needed, be sure to make it known as soon as possible in order for your scheduling needs to be best met.

Wondering who needs a math tutor?

Tools to bring to a tutoring sessions.

Bring plenty of paper, pencils, and an eraser.

Your textbook, workbook, work sheets, class notes, and any other tools you may be using in your math class.

Other tools.

If you are in geometry class, then you may need to bring a protractor, compass, and a straight edge.

If you are graphing equations, then you probably should bring graphing paper and a straight edge.

If you are allowed to use a calculator, then bring it, too.

Most important tool in math.

I think that the most important tool in math is the eraser.
